Consumer Laws

One of the most important milestones in the area of consumer protection/consumer movement in the country has been the enactment of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. This Act has been necessitated because the well-organized sectors of manufacturers, traders and service providers with the knowledgeof market and manipulative skills often attempt to exploit the consumers, in spite of theexistence of various provisions of different laws for protecting their interests. Moreover, the increase in population hasresulted in enormous pendency and delay in disposal ofcases in the civil courts. . Hence, the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 was enacted to better protect the interests of consumers.

Consumers need an inexpensive and quick grievance redressal mechanism to ensure that manufacturers and service providers are accountable for the price and quality that the consumers are entitled to.

The major laws in operating in this field are

1. Consumer Protection Act

2. Monopoly  and Restrictive Trade Practices Act

Years together, our earnest effors have been to save our clients from acts of deceit by producers and service providers, by supplying substandard products and imparting deficient services to consumers for a valid consideration. Ultimately the consumer alone was put to face injustice and illegal loss. We  are proud to have served the aggrieved persons with the best results and duly compensated for the loss they suffered on account of inferior procudts and deficient services.
